Originally trained as an architect, Kemi Adesoye’s interest in screenwriting began after discovering a screenwriting book in a university library. After training at NYFA, over a ten-year career, Kemi scripted short films; Mama Putt, Prize Maze (Mnet) National Cake, The Line Up (Goethe Institute). A New You, New Horizons, Fifty (EbonyLife). Mnet /Endemol series; Doctors’ Quarters, Tinsel S1-6, Hotel Majestic and Edge of Paradise. MTV’s Shuga Naija S1 and S4 (Viacom), Crazy, Lovely Cool S1 (Nollywood factory/Trace TV), Battleground S1. ( Mnet). Kemi penned features; The Figurine, PhoneSwap, Omugwo (Goldeneffects), Glamour Girls and “A Naija Christmas” (Netflix). Kemi runs content development company Buffy K productions and continues to be enthusiastic about the art of storytelling
