Armed with a degree in Dramatic Arts, Tunde Babalola commenced his multiple-award-winning writing career in the UK. In 1996, his sit-com play IN EXILE was the success of the Channel 4 Sit-com Festival. It went on to become a critically acclaimed UK’s Channel 4 Television sitcom series.

IN EXILE went on to win a Special Commendation at the 1999 Montreaux Television Festival in France.

Tunde was regular writer on the successful UK network police drama series THE BILL from 1996-2001 turning out episode after episode, thereby exhibiting his unique and versatile ability for writing both Comedy and Drama.

In 2004, Tunde was commissioned to write the produced box office hit CRITICAL ASSIGNMENT – a political-thriller set in South Africa. It was acquired by HBO in the States, and BBC Films in the UK amongst other territories in the world.
